Corrin's heart stopped hearing his wife rise from bed. He struggled desperately against his restraints. He didn't want her to see him like his, barely bigger than a mouse, and be overcome with worry. Or would she tease and toy with him over his new found size? What if she didn't notice him at all? What if she crushed her tiny husband beneath her foot without a second thought, and trekked over to the mess hall with his bloody remains stuck to her-
Corrin shook his head and continued struggling. He could fret over his current predicament when he was somewhere safer, and not when he was about to be possibly flattened by his huge partner.
Thankfully, he heard his groggy spouse mumble to herself "Five more minutes wouldn't hurt..." and slide back into bed, flinging the bedsheets over herself and giving a self-indulgent hum. The danger having passed, at least for the moment, the shrunken prince gave a sigh of relief, and double his efforts to escape the bonds that squeezed so tightly around his body.
How he failed to notice the gigantic figure staring down at him, or how he hadn't heard them coming, he wasn't sure.
