...he heard the rumbling of his currently small belly. "I guess I slept longer than I thought, it must be time for a meal," he said to himself, however incorrectly. Ed hurried off to the kitchen and looked about through the fridge for something to eat. "Man, it all looks so good," he exclaimed, grabbing a vast amount of food in his arms and carrying it to the table, laying it out. "I guess I could just eat until I'm not hungry... I mean, I deserve that much," Ed said, pridefully, before putting the cold food in the appropriate places for it to heat up, eating away at the food that was edible cold as he did so.
"I don't think I've ever been so hungry before..." he trailed off, rubbing his growling stomach. This was, of course, the first of many large meals to come for Ed, not that he knew that just yet. As some of the food finished heating up he went at it...
