Alex is not feeling any better by the time he reaches his house. He enters through the front door, and plans to lay down for a bit. Hopefully he was just dehydrated or something, and not getting sick. "Who gets sick the last day of school..." he muttered.
"Alex! Is that you?" he was greeted by his mother's voice. A moment later she popped out from the kitchen to confront him. "I thought I asked you yesterday to take all your video game crap out of the living room and put it on your tv... I have company coming this evening!" His mom sounded irritated.
Alex rolled his eyes, "I will... My tv isn't HD... And besides, Aunt Diana doesn't really count as compay. I don't feel good, I'll move it later...I was helping my science teacher move some stuff and a liquid splashed on me. I think it is making me feel like this."
Sara moved forward and blocked her son's path. "No, you'll do it NOW young man." She said forcefully looking Alex directly in the eyes.
"Fine, whatever." Alex grumbled and moved towards his video games as his mother went back into the kitchen. Wait, something wasn't right... It had been almost two years since he was eye to eye with his mother...
Alex was still feeling lightheaded, and shrugged it off as he grabbed his stuff, "She must be wearing high heels..." he thought. Alex continued towards his room, when suddenly he was overcome with another wave of dizziness. He steadied himself against the wall and feeling like his clothes were falling off of him as they felt much to loose.
"I must have a fever..." he thought as he felt the wave pass and he regained his composure. Suddenly he became aware of his sister Janet's voice coming from the kitchen, talking to their mother.
"Oh! Mom! I almost forgot to tell you what I found on Alex's computer this morning!"
Uh oh. Alex felt his heart skip a beat. Had his sister discovered his secret???
