This will start an alternate version of the story with younger characters. Everything will basically be the same about the household but Alex will be fourteen in eighth grade and Janet will be twelve and in six grade.

It is the last day of school and Alex and Janet both can't wait to get home. As soon as the last bell of the day rings at Elmerwood Junior High School, students literally come running out of the school. Kids scatter everywhere in an attempt to start their summer vacation as quickly as possible. Alex and Janet make their way back to their home, each hanging out with their own group of friends. Now, who gets home first to discover a package on the front porch containing a strange looking gun?
