Alex sets the pendant & instructions down on his desk figuring its just a joke. Alex walks out of his room shutting his door behind him as he leaves to go to Katie's house.

After Alex leaves does his mother Sara who is vaccuming the house & comes in to his room see the pendant & use it?

Or does Janet come in to his room & find it after being curious as to what he got & uses it?
