You have no clue where to get tights. You have no money and you do not want ask your sister for help since she would most likely give you some silly leotard. In times like this you realize there is only one person you can turn to.
You yell "Mom! Where are you?" and you hear a faint "Over here." somewhere in the distance. Using your knowledge of the layout of your own household you surmise she is in the kitchen. A minute later you are standing in front of her. She is clothed in an apron and rubber gloves over her normal clothing; she is washing dishes. "Mom I need a costume for the party tonight."
Without even turning from her task she replies. "The one you and your sister were invited to?"
You reply "Yes mom I need a superhero outfit."
Your mom turns and sees you with the curtain over your shoulders "Is that one of the front curtains?"
Your growing impatient "Yeah mom I need tights or something it is going to happen soon."
Your mother sighs and gets to your demands "If you promise not to tear the curtain we can run by the store in thirty minutes and get you an outfit."
You quickly realize the party is in about 20 minutes you wasted too much time. The panic must have been evident on your face as your mother calls you out. "The party is sooner then thirty minutes is it not? You could try your dad's old jumpsuit from when he was a janitor in high school."
You thank your mom and hurry to your parents room where you find the jumpsuit hanging in the closet right next to an expensive suit. The jumpsuit is dark blue and has a zipper which runs all the way up from the crotch to the neck. There are no apparent logo on it and it seems to be a little big for you it seems dad was a little more athletic then you in high school. You try it on and it fits, but bags around the shoulders and arms and legs. It fits however.
