Asuka finally breaks a smile as she walks over to her on-the-floor bag. The redhead was content with her plan of returning to competition in even greater form than how she left. Tossing her bag over her right shoulder she exits the locker room, a glimpse of happiness back in her formerly anger-filled eyes. Though she still didn't feel like speaking with anyone.
As she walked out toward the pool area, the exit being just on the opposite side of the locker-rooms, she spotted Rei walking toward her. The two girls passed one another but surprisingly or not surprisingly (depending on how you look at it) no words were exchanged between the two. Only two somewhat nods to one another, the girls then parted ways.
As she approached Shinji Asuka knew he'd be worried about her and frankly at present time didn't want to converse with the boy.
"Um...Asuka?" She walked by him, just like with Rei only her nod being her only form of acknowledgment.
"Hey where are you going, Asuka?" he asked her curiously.
"None of your concern. Don't follow." she stated in full seriousness.
A short time later Asuka had completely left the event. Now away from the location of her terrible loss she took a moment to think.
Asuka's ego and will demanded that she return to swimming as soon as possible but to do that meant she had to not only get in top-physical shape but become so strong she would never lose again.
Asuka envisioned herself with a bit of a leaner more well-tone physique, a body shape that would definitely give her an edge over the competition. She liked that idea.
For kicks she pictured her "rebuild" self growing even larger with more and more muscle mass. Bigger and bigger she swelled making her competition look like toothpicks by comparison.
The dream would have continued had Hikari not interrupted effectively bringing Asuka back to reality.
"Huh, what?"
"I said are you alright, Asuka. You looked pretty angry a couple of minutes ago." restated Hikari, concern in her tender voice.
"Oh...I'm fine. I'm just going to go walk and clear my head." Asuka responded even if it was bold-faced lie. Though it seem to be enough to convince Hikari and soon enough the two girls parted with one another.
As Asuka wandered the streets her thoughts went back to her "dream" from before. Asuka knew if she was going to win again she had to get stronger and just getting a little stronger would do wonders but then she remembered when her "dream" self grew larger and larger. With a body that big no one would ever beat again, even Ayanami who was her greatest rival. But was it even possible to become that massive?
She didn't have an answer but regardless was determined to find something that would accelerate her muscle growth in as quick a way as possible.
