Make him fatter over time

Ash and Pikachu soon made it out of the ruins. “Aaahhh, it feels great to be outside again!” Said Ash as stretched out his arms. “Pika!” His Pokémon companion replied. Then Ash felt something strange and said “Weird, I feel a little puffier than usual. Do I look the same Pikachu?” Pikachu nodded implying that Ash didn’t change at all. “Oh thank goodness. I must be feeling this way since we’ve been in there for so long.” Ash stayed as he felt calmer. But he actually did become slightly bigger. He nor Pikachu realized this because it was a small gain but nothing noticeable.
