After rubbing your head from the impact, you walk over to the other side of the pit and grab one of the torches. You continuously look for a way out of the pit, but unfortunately, you don't see one. You then decide to look around, noticing several nooks carved out of the walls. You most noticeable thing you saw was a large chalice full of water.
You're instincts tell you not to drink the water, knowing that there's a good chance that it may be a trap, but your throat says otherwise. You were very thirsty and the last time you had a drink was yesterday morning.
For another hour, you continued to look for a way out of the pit until you sat down for a rest. You were so thirsty, you kept looking at the chalice. Your throat was throbbing with pain.
