Something cold dropped onto Johnny’s shoulder, splashing onto his cheek and some of it getting into his mouth.
“GAH!” he screamed, jumping to the side, trying to get the horrid taste from his mouth.
“What’s his problem?” asked Ben.
“Oh no” breathed Reed.
“What?” cried Johnny, “What is it? Oh my God, what’s gonna happen to me?”
“Just stay calm Johnny. It’s going to be alright”
“Reed, I feel…”
Johnny started scratching franticly around his neck where the liquid had hit him.
“… really itchy” he whined.
“Reed what was it?” asked Sue.
“Probably just water” grunted Ben.
“No” said Reed, “it was a… oh my”
Johnny had stopped itching and was now breathing heavily, a look of bliss on his face. Then Sue noticed something. Johnny’s arm seemed to be swelling, mainly around the bicep and forearm. Johnny looked down and his growing arms and smiled. He started to rub them, feeling them get bigger.
“Reed?” asked Sue.
The growth seemed to pass over the rest of his body, his pecs getting bigger and pushing forward against his uniform. His legs were getting bigger as well, his thighs practically bulging with power. And then there was the area between his legs. There was a definite… increase in the bulge. And from the looks of the bulge, Johnny was enjoying himself.
The sounds of creaking bones echoed through the lab as Johnny’s shoulders began to expand, the muscles becoming bigger and more rounded. His neck started thickening as well, straining against his collar. Veins started springing up looking like lightning bolts.
When the growth began to slow, Johnny was as tall as Ben, not quite as wide but not far off. Sue could only stare in shock at the size of her little brother.
“Awesome” said Johnny.
He brought his arms up and flexed them, his biceps bulging and straining against the uniform. He then but them on his sides and flexed his pecs, stretching the four on his chest and distorting it.
“Reed what did you do?” asked Sue.
“Hey Rocky” said Johnny, cutting off Reed. “Wanna arm wrestle?”
