During the clash with AlphaOmega, Ben and Rex figure out how to upgrade the nanites in Rex to absorb the ones in their enemy. With Alpha and the Omega Nanite now part of their fused state, the two are stuck together.

And worse yet they just keep producing nanites that are making them grow and it....feels kinda nice....
