A soft voice wakes you. "Excuse me miss, are you alright?"
It takes a few seconds to force your eyes open. "Miss?"
The lids finally part, revealing the owner of the voice. "Oh, thank goodness. I was worried you wouldn't wake up!" A cute face, feline and canine. An Eevee, although with more humanoid characteristics than you'd expect. "I found you while I was out walking and brought you here so the Zubats wouldn't get to you." You finally notice the soft sheets and fluffy pillow, sleep slowly leaving you.
Not only more humanoid characteristics, more feminine, too. You manage to weakly lift your head for a better view when her hand gently presses your shoulder back onto the bed. "You shouldn't move so much, you could be injured and I don't want it to get any worse."
You manage to see that she's standing by the bed, her figure somewhat masked by the pleated skirt and light camisole. "What's your name?" She smiles pleasantly at you.
You work your mouth for a few seconds before answering. "Sarah. Where am I?"
At that, her smile brightens. "You're in my house, Sarah. It's a short walk from Viridian City, and a bit out of the way."
You blink a few times, clearing your eyes. "Never heard of someplace like... Wait, what country is this?"
She tilts her head slightly in confusion. "Why, it's Kanto, of course. Are you from Johto?"
Suddenly it all hits you. The realization. This isn't the Earth you know, this is some version of the Pokemon world. "Not quite... Can I get some water, please? I'm a bit parched."
She blinks twice and opens her mouth in surprise. "Of course! How could I forget that, of course you'd want something to drink." She quickly walks out leaving you alone. Alone with your thoughts, and the strangely comfortable knowledge that you've entered a world wholly different from yours.
After a minute she returns, carrying a glass of water. "Here you are." The glass is placed in your hands, and rises to your lips. It's cold and possibly the most refreshing thing you've ever tasted. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." Suddenly, her face takes on a look of shock. "Oh! I never told you my name! I'm Eve, sorry for my rudeness."
"It's okay Eve, thank you for helping me." You smile. It seems to cheer her up a bit.
What do you do?
