An End to Life(styles)

Spotting Daxter heading over to his table, Jak abruptly leaves "remembering" he needed to be on patrol. Jak didn't feel like talking to Daxter at the moment. Recently his form had been starting to slip and Daxter had been on his case the moment it started. Daxter never said enything right out but he did have his ways. Like putting just a little extra emphasis on his greeting of "Hey there BIG guy!"
Jak knew he had been slipping but he wasn't the type to work-out. He had always been fit just from his lifestyle. But since his lifestyle of saving the world looked to be at an end he had lost interest.
Despite himself Jak found himself regretting his cowardice and leaving the Naughty Ottsel. Not only did he want to talk to Dax but he really wanted a sandwich.
Telling his stomach to be quiet, Jak started patrolling his assigned precinct....
