With a soft sigh Sakura lifted her chunkier self off the bench she had been sitting upon and decided to go pay Naruto a surprise morning visit.
Sasuke had fled from the village a good long while ago and in that time Sakura had come to second guess her supposed "love" for the Uchiha avenger and instead learn to appreciate the company of her one constant teammate, Naruto, even if he did annoy her from time to time but it was better then not having a shoulder to lean on at all.
So all that aside Sakura soon found herself right outside Naruto's apartment door.
Fumbling with her fingers through one of her pockets she eventually pulled out a spare key the blonde ninja had given to her just in case she ever wanted to have a chat, hang out, or whatever (Naruto secretly hoped he could perhaps get a date out of her one of this days though).
A moment later, after picking away at the lock with the key in her hand, she entered the small-sized apartment. Looking around she had it on good authority that the blonde ninja was still asleep. While a few things were tossed around here and there they also appeared to be untouched since the moment they were scattered about.
Sakura's hearing then picked up on the slight sound of Naruto snoring away, obviously the source of the sound came from the door leading to his room.
With a bit of a chuckle Sakura sat herself down on the nearby couch, amusingly she thought about knocking at his door to awake her friend and see his no doubt priceless reaction but before she could do that a slight rumble came from her belly.
She had forgotten to get a bite to eat this morning and apparently her belly was taking a moment to remind her of said mistake.
Sakura sighed once more, a habit she seem to be doing a lot lately, as she got up and headed toward Naruto's kitchen. Surely he wouldn't mind if she got herself a snack, even if all he seem to ever have was different kinds of ramen.
