Lost in the woods

One sunny summer day, you decide to go on a hike through the woods. You are on a trail you have never been on before, and after trudging along for some time, the woods start to seem a little strange. You can't quite tell why, but something is definitely different. You continue on a ways further, and then get the same feeling again. You look around and the trees seem like they are bigger than they were before. Yes, that's it! You pick up a maple leaf from the forest floor and it is at least twice the size of any other maple leaf you have ever seen. Up ahead, further down the trail, it looks like the trees continue getting bigger. There is also a smaller path to your right.

You have the following choices:

1. Continue on the trail to the bigger trees

2. Take the smaller path to the right
