Sonic enters the room

Sonic opened the door and looked around.

"Tails? Where are you?"

Tails froze, hoping Sonic wouldn't see him in this predicament. Unfortunately, he heard the tap-tap of Sonic's shoes moving across the floor and suddenly stop. Glancing from his position under his machine, Tails could clearly see the red and white footwear stationary within a few paces of his own feet.

Furthermore, his tails, still blue, were quite visible to the speedy hedgehog.

"Tails? Is that you?"

Tails, thinking quickly, decided to tell Sonic...
