A magical option

"I will do as you ask but there is another way to detour the humans if you would give me the honor of offering it." you said, bowing your head, hoping the dragon would have the patience and tolerance to hear your advice.

"Go on" the dragon said. The temperature in the cave was cooling. Either the dragon was relaxing or the warm air has spread throughout the cave and mixed with any colder air.

"I can use my magic to make them believe I have killed you. They will believe me and leave from the entrance of the cave. No one gets killed that way." you said, knowing that there was a good chance you could not produce the outcome claimed. After all, you weren't an Illusion master.

You waited patiently, there was no word from the dragon. Apparently he was deep in thought. Was he beginning to trust you? After two minutes, the dragon finally replied
