This choice: The burglar sees Nick coming, but accidentely grows him • Go Back...Chapter #5Bad luck for the bad guy! by: Kooplan Heather was scared after being shrunken by the dangerous intruder in her house, but when she saw Nick coming to her rescue her fears were eased. In fact, she was now cheering on her giant husband.
"Get him!" She squeaked as Nick sneaked up behind the burglar. Unfortunately, her cheering got the attention of the burglar, who quickly realized what was happening and turned around to be greeted by Nick swinging a lamp at him. The burglar reacted quickly and grabbed the lamp with his empty hand, causing the two men to get into a struggle. They fought for awhile, but the burglar had had the advantage all along, with his shrink gun in hand he aimed at Nick and fired a shot that struck him square in his chest.
Within seconds, Nick's body started to grow! His clothing stretched to the breaking point as his body grew and grew, to twice his normal size. He now stood an astounding 12' tall!
It all happened so fast, the thief and even Heather were taken back by his sudden transformation, but Nick was quick to assess it, and all he could think about was putting a stop to the thief before him, at his new size it wouldn't even be fair. Although he did wish the room was a little bigger, he found himself hunched over just to fit.
"Nick?!" Heather squeaked, shocked at this turn of events.
She wasn't the only one shocked either. "W-What!?" The burglar shouted in frustration. He looked at the device and tried to figure out what he did wrong. But before he could even begin to figure it out, he was suddenly knocked cold by a huge hand hitting him in the back of his head. He fell down, unconscious, and dropped the size changing gun.
"Nick!" Heather shouted up to her now enormous husband. "You did it!"
"Yeah..." He replied, still a bit shaken up from the whole ordeal. It wasn't everyday that a burglar came into his house and shrank his wife, after all. "Oof..!" He grunted as he tried to stand up. He now found it hard to do, since he was so big he nearly filled the room.
"My hero!" Heather cried. She ran up to his foot and hugged it best she could, though it something like hugging a house at their relative sizes, she grabbed as much as she could. And now, despite how horrible things could have gone, and how awfully small she still was, she wasn't finding herself worried at all, not with Nick around to protect her. "My big hero!" She repeated, correcting herself.
Nick smiled and laughed at his wife's enthusiasm. He loved how carefree she could be at times. Like now, once the immediate danger was over and done with, it was back to being cheerful and happy with her.
"Ha ha! Okay, honey." He said, stifling more laughs. He could feel Heather's tiny little hands grabbing at his toes, making him ticklish. "Let me get over to the gun so we can fix this mess."
"Mmm-hmm!" Heather understood, being so big and hunched over, Nick probably couldn't even see her at his foot, so it'd be best if she stepped back a bit. Heather did so. But then she saw the size change gun, several feet away from the still out-cold burglar, and ran over to it. "Nick, here's the gun!" She shouted, trying to be helpful.
"Where?" Nick asked, looking around. He was still trying to get into a comfortable position, but it was so hard to move around now. He still couldn't see below him very well, and he was scared that he might hurt tiny Heather, so he tried to be extremely careful where he moved. "Heather, it's hard for me to move around in here. Everything's so small!"
"Nick! It's right here! Follow my voice!" Heather shouted.
Nick nodded, he reached over to where he heard her shouts coming from and... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
