Heather was scared after being shrunken by the dangerous intruder in her house, but when she saw Nick coming to her rescue her fears were eased. In fact, she was now cheering on her giant husband.
"Get him!" She squeaked as Nick sneaked up behind the burglar. Unfortunately, her cheering got the attention of the burglar, who quickly realized what was happening and turned around to be greeted by Nick swinging a lamp at him. The burglar reacted quickly and grabbed the lamp with his empty hand, causing the two men to get into a struggle. They fought for awhile, but the burglar had had the advantage all along, with his shrink gun in hand he aimed at Nick and fired a shot that struck him square in his chest.
Just like his wife before him, Nick immediately started shrinking into his clothing, and in a few seconds both husband and wife were reduced to only 2 inches tall.
"Nick, no!" Heather cried. Her last hope had been shrunken away and she felt that it was her fault, if only she hadn't shouted before. She whimpered on the floor, there wasn't much else she could do at her tiny size.
"That takes care of that." The burglar boomed far above the shrunken couple. He then turned around and picked up Heather and then grabbed Nick as well. He set them both on the table. "Now, what to do with you?" He asked, looking at Nick. "I mean, I'm definitely going to keep your little woman. But, what do I do about you?"
Hearing this, Nick raised his fist to the giant thief and cursed him. "What? You wanna fight me?" The burglar mocked him. "I think we already saw how that would go down, haha! No, I think I might just crush you..!" The burglar raised his own fist over Nick for greater emphasis, Nick flinched but tried to stay strong. But Heather couldn't take much more as she burst into tears, fearing for her husbands life, and she begged and pleaded with the giant thief to spare him.
The burglar mostly ignored the tiny woman's pleas, but as she continued to beg him he thought about it for real. Maybe he should spare the tiny man, maybe he would have some use for him after all?
