As a strange twist of fate, the person closest to the blast who wasn't effected by it turned out to be a celebrity.
She was walking in the outskirts of the town when the blast hit, and was amazed to see the entire town had vanished without a trace, leaving nothing but a large circle of empty earth which she stood just beyond the boundary of.
Though it was too small to make out from where she stood, it seemed as though there was some strange objects in the center of the circle where the town once stood. Intrigued, and ever the curious one, she disregarded her own safety and walked towards the objects.
As she approached, her mouth dropped open and she gasped in amazement to see that the objects were actually structures of the vanished town!
