"Gotcha!"
If not for her tiny size, the huge palm of the human might have ensnared her. Luckily, Nel's four-inch form slipped through his hand like butter. Flitting her wings to spray off the putrid human sweat, Nel planned her mode of attack. Go around the head and buzz in his ear? Cliche, but do-able. Scratch his eyes out? More effective. Or just flee? The man had to be taught a lesson for messing with a defenseless pixie!
But perhaps the one who should've studied more was Nel, as her conniving left her completely open for capture. This time, the man considered every possible avenue of escape, by sliding her into a black box through a four-inch slit. She barely eased in, so there was no chance of her mustering her way out. As added precaution, the man closed the tiny bar of freedom from Nel, leaving only pinpoint holes to aerate her prison.
"Well, isn't this terrible? I end up captured by a human for thinking too much. Karma, perhaps?"
Nel wasn't one to struggle in this type of situation, just bide her time and wait for opportunity. She tended to wait more often than not. Probably why she hadn't come up with some solution to her diminutive size, yet. Well, that dream was fruitless now. She merely waited in the box, wondering where she might find herself next...

Another box, actually. Nel awoke to the sights of slightly larger pinpricks for a ceiling, but the same dull, pitch black surroundings. Perhaps a bit more spacious, but no opening in sight. The walls dwarfed her even more than the last box, and she found herself a helpless prison. Kneeling over in anguish, she almost missed the overshadowing eye peeking through the top. Instantly she sprung up to reach at it, but the human moved away.
"Alive! Wow, a real, living pixie! And everyone told me I was a fraud... I'll show them, won't I? Me and my new..."
