The person does something

"It's a kill or be killed world out there," says the person to Anna "that might be a life lesson if you live to learn from it." The person draws a knife and throws it at Anna. At first Anna feels that the person aimed rather low to hit her heart or head, but that wasn't the target. The knife slices the inside of one of her thighs and opens up a major artery. Losing feeling in her leg, Anna falls over. She wonders why the person didn't just hit her in her head as she attempts to stem the bleeding, but to no avail. She has neither the the medical training, nor strength to apply the proper amount of pressure: strength that is rapidly failing her. As her pain tops out and starts to go back down as she loses feeling all over her body, she realizes that the person didn't want her to have a quick death. By the time her own blood is ruining her hair and almost getting in her eyes, she wasn't conscious enough to care. In due time, after a long, painful, bloody death, Anna comes to an end.
