"Yes! Isn't it exciting!?" Dr. Adipo's enthusiasm showed as he talked about the drug. "It's no secret that America has high obesity rates, and with this drug, people will never have to worry about the negative side effects of obesity ever again."
"Um, and what's my part in this test?" Conrad couldn't help but feel he already knew the answer.
"Easy, we've now reached the human testing phase and need a human volunteer." Dr. Adipo grabbed a vial containing a clear liquid, presumably the drug. "We will administer this sample of the drug, or the Adipose Relief drug, and will ask you to, well, gain weight. As much as you can."
"Y-you're asking me to put on weight for a drug that hasn't been tested on humans yet?" Conrad was, understandably, a little overwhelmed with the information. How much would he have to gain? Is the drug permanent or does it have to be injected regularly?
"Don't worry, Conrad. We've done all research into the drug we possibly could before taking this into human testing. Just one injection, and you're good for life!" Dr. Adipos put down the vial before handing Conrad a clipboard with a contract attached to it. "Plus, you'll be compensated for everything and be granted bonuses for every weight milestone you reach. Now what do you say?"
