Chapter #7
Give the girl an interview.
by: Unknown
You always found it difficult to say no to a girl. Even though she doesn't look that beautiful, there is something in that gaze of hers that is hard to resist her.
"Fine, I'll do it. But let's get away here first." You nudge to the guards who are still patrolling the area.
"Great, this is going to be awesome." She whispers pumping her fist in the air. She then nudge you to follow her.
"So where are we going?" You ask her curious as you walk next to her.
"My house. Where else?" She asks smiling.
For real? I thought those interviews always took place somewhere on neutral territory. Ah well, it can't be that important. You were thinking and then suddenly you feel dizzy for a moment. Your hands begin to shake and your forehead feels warm.
"Are you okay? You don't look so hot." The girl grabs hold of your arm.
"I'm fine." You wave her back. Just as unexpected as it came, just as unexpected it leaves. "So where's your place?"
"We're here alright." The girl tells you as she points at the house. It's a small suburban house.
"It's only me and my mom here and she's working for most of the time. Come in." She grabs a key from underneath the door math and opens the door with it. Stepping inside the smell of old furniture overwhelms you.
"Sorry if it smells weird. My mom...she can't afford that much, so we have to do with what we can get." The girl explains as if she's used by it. She pulls of the leather army boots of her feet and lets you follow her to her room.
The room is small but pleasant. There are a few posters of a few rock-bands on the wall you are familiar with, some cutouts of articles on the wall and a pile of washable clothes on the floor.
"Sorry, still need my mom to do those." She lets you sit on the comfortable bed, while she sits on the only chair inside the room.
"Now finally we can begin. So, um..."
"David" You tell her your name.
"David." She writes down on a piece of paper." I know this must come out of the blue, but how was it?" She asks looking at you with those big brown eyes again.
"What was? Not sure to what she was referring.
"Duh, infiltrating a highly secured military base, of course silly. How did you manage to do it, how many guards did you spot and most important: did you spot any sign of extraterrestrials?"
Not sure if you made the right choice by coming here, you begin to tell her an extensive description of your accounts with certain parts being added to give the story an extra boost. The girl doesn't seem to mind though, as her pen scribbles down everything you tell her.
You just were about to tell her the part of you entering the storehouse when you suddenly feel dizzy again. The girl looks frightened as you let yourself fall down on the bed and your body begins to act spastic.
"H-Help me." You tell the girl but she can only sit and stare at you with those huge eyes looking at you until her eyes roll back and she faints right there.
With nobody to help you, you don't know what to do as your body feels like it's about to melt. The ceiling looks much further away all of a sudden, your body trembles as you pray that this may finally stop. And then it stops all of a sudden. Just like before, though you don't feel as good. Remembering the girl has fainted, you decide to check up on her to give her first aid, but as you lift yourself you only feel your face moving itself. Nothing moved somehow. You look around and to your surprise see you're lying in your clothes, they are way much bigger than you. Something has happened to you.
When you try to move your legs, they don't feel as before. It's like they have shrunk, and are positioned in a reversed z-shape. You try to move them and to your amazement you move forward a little. You continue to move until you are balancing on the edge of the girl's bed. Too late you can stop and you can feel yourself falling down, but it only pressed your body down for a second before you revert back to your original position. Turning around you can see the bed you came up from. You must have shrunk quite a bit as the bed is as all as a house. Looking down you can see your body is made out of some type of goo. It's weird.
