The impatient mother

"Is it done yet?" Susan asked, scaring both Crystal and Carol.
"Why are you back so fast? HOW DID YOU GET BACK SO FAST!?!" Crystal yelled. It was true though, it had been only 5 minutes, and yet Susan already had cookie dough ice cream in a Store bag. That really confused Crystal because it took about 10 minutes to get to the store by car. "WHAT DO YOU HAVE A SECRET STASH OF ICE CREAM AND STORE BAGS!?!"
"Stop yelling please, and details aren't important. So is it ready yet? I know you said two hours but I can't wait."
"Um . . ." Crystal grabbed Carol and hid her behind her back. Carol wasn't sure if Susan saw her. "It is almost ready. It's taking less time than anticipated."
"Really! That's so wonderful!" Susan licked her lips. "When will be done, how long?"
"10 minutes" Crystal said quickly. Both she and Carol knew that their mom got this way when she got excited.
"Yay! I will go get dressed." With that she left for her bedroom. Crystal turned around and looked at Carol.
"Seriously how did she do that so fast?" Carol shrugged. Both of them thought for a second. When are we going to tell her?"
"How about just before the party?" Carol asked.
"Sounds good to me"
"What sounds good?" Susan said behind them. Both Carol and Crystal jumped and screamed.
"STOP DOING THAT! SERIOUSLY HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT!" Susan just giggled at Crystal, then
