"...and I want you to live here with me as my personal servant" said Cassandra.
"You mean you're not human?" you blurt out. Of course she wasn't human....she had hoofs for legs for goodness sake and she just shifted her appearance. You seem more interested in the fact that you just met a demonic being then what she had just said. She wanted to live with her as her servant? What did that mean? Does she want a simple butler like Alfred in Batman....or does she want someone more than a butler?
"A combination of butler and servant" said Cassandra. "I never had a servant before.....can you imagine? Me, who has lived for hundreds of years and I never had a servant"
"Hundreds of years?" you ask. "you don't look any older than I do"
Cassandra smiled a smile that made you want to melt. You then nod and agree to be her servant on the spot. You'll do anything for this charming lady!
"I'm so glad that you want to be my servant" said Cassandra. Then, she cleared her throat. "Well then, come along and I'll show you the rest of the house"
The Victorian mansion that Cassandra owns has four floors counting the tower and the wine cellar. Cassandra takes you on a tour of her house, with you eagerly following her. The room where she flew you to was at the top of the tower...it was a large room but it was crowded due to a table and four chairs around it. Next, came the third floor which had bedrooms and Cassandra's personal study and rather large library. The second floor had more bedrooms, the servants' quarters and Cassandra's bedroom (the servants' quarters are directly opposite of Cassandra's bedroom). The ground floor had a large kitchen, dinning room, drawing room, living room, and a small cloakroom. The wine cellar had three rooms to it; two of them held human-made wine while the third room had wine made from demons and not fit for humans to drink. Cassandra warns you about drinking the demonic wine. Lastly, Cassandra showed you one last room that was in the wine cellar, accessible only by a secret door. In the secret room, there was a huge crystal ball sitting on a stand for it. Inside the crystal ball were swirling colors at the moment.
"This is my pride and joy" said Cassandra. "I have only recently made this" She rubbed the crystal ball.
"What is it?" you ask.
"A portal to other dimensions" said Cassandra. "it was very hard to come into this plane of existence you know. This device lets me open portals to other planes of existence. Makes it a lot easier for me to go to my real home"
"This isn't your real home?" you ask.
"Oh no" said Cassandra. "my true home is in the Netherworld....or hell, as you mortals call it"
"If I'm going to be your servant, why show me this?" you ask.
"As my servant, you'll have to know the complete layout of the house" said Cassandra.
"I see" you say. "and what are my.......wages?"
"Isn't it enough to be a servant for a lovely woman like me?" asked Cassandra.
Before you can answer, the doorbell to the house rang. "Get that, will you?"
"You expecting someone this late?" you ask as you start to walk out of the secret room with Cassandra close behind.
"No" said Cassandra.
You and Cassandra head for the ground floor, and you go to answer the door. Cassandra goes into the drawing room, which has a huge fireplace in it. You approach the door and open it. Who--or what--is at the door?
