You deploy your parachute sucsesfully and loom around now frightened that the plane once high in the air is now on fire an crashing to the ground and only 5 men are with you. The german artillery takes heavy fire at you and you were shot in the arm yelling in pain. your best friends manage safty but the other 2 were gonners. there parrachute was shot with holes and one man was shot throgh the gut and falling to the ground.
we grabbed hold of the other comrad and held him for dear life.
