Lucy’s nose sniffs the aroma in the air, distinctly recognizing the smell of her Mom’s fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. Lucy’s Mom (Susan) had been making her cookies since Lucy could ever remember, and Lucy had always loved them. The cookies were rich, gooey, and perfectly made in every way.
As a kid she would eats dozens of these things, she would eat at least half of a batch a day! She was quite the sneaky pig when she was younger; and consequently she was also a relatively chubby little girl.
Once she entered her teens, specifically high school, she realized that it wasn’t ‘cool’ to be fat and that ‘thin’ was ‘in’. So she worked out like crazy and shed her pounds. However, inside her inner fat girl was dying to break out again. Every since she lost the weight she hadn’t touched a single cookie, nor cookie crumb.
Fruits and disgusting “energy” drinks had been her diet for the last couple of years. However, tonight Lucy was feeling exceptionally stressed out (and hungry) and she figured that she deserved a cookie (or two).
