"Hands up," one of the officers said, and several others held their guns up to him. "C'mon, buddy, the nicer you are to us, the better we'll be to you."

"I didn't do it!" Greg insisted, his fat face flushed and worried. Hesitiating, he rephrased it. "I admit, I pickpocketed four dollars, but no rape! I swear! She overreacted."
