Susan was lazily sitting on her couch Wednesday afternoon like she did everyday. Being a house wife not many exciting things happen on the week days, every thing was fairly routine.
And just like every other work day went Susan found her self loafing on the couch, her face immersed in a pint of ice cream and the TV on. This had been Susan’s usual routine since Greg got a raise.
Suddenly she didn’t need to work because of the extra money coming in, so she decided to quit her job as a Teacher and become a “House Wife”. At the first notion of it she thought it would be like the show “Desperate Housewives”, she thought her life would be full of excitement and surprises.
Susan didn’t expect and adultery or cheating but she expected some ilk of thrill excitement. So far no excitement had presented its self to her. So like every busy bee has its routine so does Susan.
Susan’s routine currently was composed eating ice cream and…sitting around. Despite what the media has said, being a housewife is in fact an eventless job. One might think that you don’t need to do work, you can go where ever you want, you can do anything; while all that may be true after a while Susan missed her class, her students, her conferences ect.
So Susan lay sprawled on the sofa eating, her “routine” had left her body in a state of plumpness.
Yes its true, after all of these years of keeping her body in shape she had lost it all in a blink of an eye; two months as a housewife and she had already put on 20 pounds. It’s not like Susan cared though, in fact she loved her sitting around all day, eating eternally and unconstricted. However today she did feel like she deserved some thing new. Hmm…maybe…
Today she was about to go get a job, she was dressed in a dark blue blazer, white blouse, and a skirt with a slightly seductive slit. However, she had been eating all morning and really didn't feel like moving.
