Lucy's Resolve

No sooner than Susan walked out the bedroom door, Lucy picked up her pink Razr, called the local YMCA, and registered for an hour on the treadmill for after school the next day.

"I'll lose this weight," she resolved. "If it's the last thing I do."

That settled, she went to sleep.

NEXT DAY: AFTER SCHOOL.
