This choice: nobody on the field at all! • Go Back...
Chapter #3
Jeremiah Burns
by: Unknown
Then, hungry belly filled, Jason ambled off to the football field to see if any of the team were out for an early morning practice. He found nobody on the field at all. Jason walked all around the arena, hoping to find a note of their location. He was up in the press booth when he finally saw someone.
Jeremiah Burns was the head of Jason's frat. He was one of those guys who never took care of his looks, but somehow always looked nice. He was wearing a pair of ripped khaki shorts, a green t-shirt, and some yellow flip-flops. He was down there with a girl, but soon enough, she rejected his approach.
Jason at this point decided to try to talk to Jeremiah. He was rather nervous about directly speaking to the head of the fraternity, but if Jason remembered correctly, he had a few more rights than the average freshmen in the frat house. He waited until he was sure that he could pretend that he did not witness Jeremiah's failure, then ambled down to the field. "Hey Jeremiah," he said.
"Hey there... Jason right?"
"Yeah, listen. I really enjoy being in the frat and everything, but these stuffings are becoming a bit costly. I have nothing else that fits me," he said, indicating his overstuffed pants and shirt.
