Justin stared at his Mom and said to his friends, "We have no choice, we've got to try and get her attention and hope she doesn't squish us". Shin put his hand on his friend's shoulder, "But Justin doesn't your mother hate bugs? She might squish us before we can even try and contact her!" Justin looked back at his mother, saw her mountainous form rise and fall to the rhythm of her steady breathing. Looked at her giant fingers each the size of a school bus, its nails painted blood red. He looked at her feet, which had crushed many an insect. He recalled the expression of disgust on his mother's face before she would squish bugs, and he shuddered. Justin snapped out of his flashbacks and said "we'll just have to take that chance". The children looked at each other with looks of anxiety. They knew there was no other way. If Andrea got up and left without them, they may never escape the miniature hell. But where to start?
