There was no point to being too big to interact with anything, so instead you packed a backpack with your skating shoes, ankle socks, flip-flops, sandals, beach-towel, change of clothes, rain-coat, soccer-ball, and a few other things so that way no matter how the universe changed, you'd have your stuff.

You walked out to the football field and stood there barefoot, your feet were about a half-inch smaller than your shoes, so you'd have last chance of stepping on anything.
