You are not afraid of many things so you go over to the corner and pick up the spider. It is small and gray so you are guessing it is that wolf spider you read about in biology class. From what you remember it is supposed to have great sight and can move really fast, not one of those web spiders that needs a web. You put it into the machine and are about to get yourself ready when you realize that if you are in it, it will be in you. How can you make sure the spider doesn’t run off with your body?
You go back into the house and call up your friend Ben. Tell him to come over and meet you in the shed. Five minutes later he get there. You tell him the down low on what is to happen. He looks skeptical but the guy will go through anything once. He tells you not to worry about your body and pulls out a pill bottle. “Take two of these before you go in and you…or I guess your body will be knocked out for hours.” You take two of the pills and go into the machine. “Okay, if this works I’ll let your ‘spider self’ out and when you want back in just clime up and down the wall in a figure eight so I know it is you.” “Cool” you say.
Ben gets at the controls and turns the thing on. There is electricity and the lights flash.
You wake up and wow damn your vision is like wide screen TV. There is so much to see in a kind of strange orange tint. Ben opens the thing up and you go foreword, slowly but soon you are able to get it all going. Cool, eight legs move fast. You gown down the machine and turn around to see the giant sneaker of Bens. You can see almost straight up and see Ben lighting up a joint. Your body is motionless, so the pills did knock you out.
You turn around and straight heading into the house. This is so cool
