As Joanna was sitting in the machine trying to figure it out, your girlfriend Katy walked in the garage.
"Hi Joanna, have you seen Kyle? Hey, what is that thing your sitting in."
Joanna replied "I haven't seen Kyle, but help me figure out what this thing does."
Katy sits in the other pod and then pushes one of the buttons and the room fills with a flash of blue light. Katy says "Wow, what was that", but she hears Joanna's voice. She looks down and realizes what has just happened. Soon Joanna figures it out too.
Katy says "Hey Joanna, let's play a little trick on your brother. Let's see if we can fool him, I'll pretend to be you and you pretend to be me." Your sister likes this idea and decides to play along.
Soon you come out to the garage. You see your sister and Joanna talking and don't notice anything unusual. You tell your sister (who is actually Katy) to get lost, which she does.
You then tell (who you think is) Katy to sit down in one pod while you sit in the other. You push the button, and are amazed at the brilliant flash of blue light.
Joanna pretends to be amazed that you two just switched bodies. You ask (who you think is) Katy if she wants to be you for the rest of the day. Joanna quickly agrees.
