You can't believe that you're actually crying as you wipe your face. That hasn't happened in years, but something about being in Joanna's body just has you all flustered and confused, feeling very different. Hearing Kathy giggling and your own voice laughing just makes you feel worse. Then the sadness turns to anger at what they've done to you, and you race around the fence and begin yelling.
"You two are just being mean. We could have fun with this, but you just want to hurt me. I, ... you, ... I ..."
It's so embarrassing to be crying, and now screaming like this seems stupid as well. You can't think of anything more to say, so you just turn and run away. You don't even stop when you hear Kathy call out, "Wait!" But you do hear your voice clearly.
"Let the little dork go cry with her dollies."
You run home and fly through the back door sniffling, tears dripping off your chin. After it slams, you hear someone call to you.
