It was the middle of a heat wave, and temperatures were at an all time record high. Sometimes reaching up to 112 degrees, ice was a commodity that was in short supply.
Elizabeth was laying in her bed, fanning herself. It was too hot to wear real clothes, so she had a small tank top over a blue bra and a pair of blue satin panties. Not practical to wear outside, but it kept her comfortable inside.
By noon, the heat was at its worst. Elizabeth was sooo hot. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was broken. "How am I supposed to stay cool?" she wondered. Then, inspiration struck her. She went out to her backyard.
Fortunately for her, there was a large 6 foot fence around the perimeter in the back, so no one could see her wardrobe choice. There it was on the wall; A spicket. Next to it lay a hose.
"I could use that hose..." she thought. It was hot enough to try anything. She was about to start to hose herself off when she saw the sprinkler against the wall. "Hmm...."
