Monica had accidentally released the air from the balloon a bit too fast, causing her to cough and gasp. It was as she was inhaling that something unprecedented happened...
GULP!
In a bizarre accident, Monica had swallowed the balloon.
"Shit!" she swore, still hacking and coughing. "That wasn't supposed to happen."
After taking a moment and settling down from her little coughing fit, Monica grabbed another balloon. She took a deep breath, ready to blow in the balloon, when she felt something happen with her stomach. She immediately understood why the moment she looked down.
Despite retaining a bit of air from the party, her stomach had definitely expanded further. Whilst still looking down, she took another deep breath, watching in delight as her tummy billowed out slightly. It seemed with every breath she took, deep or not, it was inflating like a balloon. Perhaps the balloon she swallowed was doing it? Maybe it was inflating inside of her?
"Hell yea!"
Forgetting all the other balloons, Monica focused on inflating her stomach, purposely inflating herself by taking repetitive, deep breaths. A stray piece of dust floating in the air was inadvertently pulled to her as she inhaled, tickling the tip of her nose. She felt it coming on, but was helpless to stop it.
Ah... Ah...ACHOO!"
Monica tossed her head forward as she sneezed, something flying out of her mouth at the same time. It was the balloon she had swallowed, deflated and soaking wet. Yet, her stomach remained full and inflated. "So i guess that means the balloon wasn't inflating inside of me..." she muttered to herself. She was the balloon.
This opened up a world of opportunities for her. There were so many things she could try! "If one balloon could do this to me," she thought...
