You are intrigued. Being able to buy a girl to keep as a sex slave sounds good. With a little hunting around, you determine some of these can be made selectable by changing up the law and the rules of society. It's obvious that you can enable the choices that describe her in human terms...'spouse' and 'slave'... by allowing ownership of people.
You find how to do this, but after you try to apply it globally, a warning comes up that centuries of work to abolish slavery is about to come undone instantly. Unpredictable results such as finding yourself or the people you know enslaved might occur.
That makes you hesitate over submitting the choice. Then you notice that it can be applied by gender. Immediately you select that only female persons can be owned. You select this, choose a reasonably low number for the percent of female persons who are owned... five percent... and submit it.
You flip back to Tina's screen and find that the choices 'owned spouse', 'indentured servant', 'contract (term) slave', 'labor slave', and 'total slave' are now enabled. But you realize that the sound of a vacuum cleaner has suddenly appeared behind you, when there had been nobody home before. You look behind you and see a woman wearing a lap apron and nothing else.
