Once Dawn had realized she could walk again, she started walking as fast as she could towards Buffy. Incorrectly assuming that since she could now walk, she could now also talk Dawn began speaking to Buffy in a pleading almost crying voice. Saying over and over, "Buffy, it's me your sister Dawn. Help me get my human body back." All that Buffy could hear was, "Roar, Roar, Roar" so Dawn was quite startled when just as she's about to touch Buffy, Buffy let out with a blood-curdling scream. Which woke up Willow who promptly rolled right out of bed onto the cold, hard floor in her bedroom. The reason Buffy screamed was that the one thing in this or any World OR Dimension that the absolutely fearless Vampire Slayer was terrified of were stuffed animals! It all went back to a long, forgotten incident that occurred when Buffy was just 7 years old. It was during a time when her parents were still deeply in love and happily living together in Los Angeles.
Still very groggy and with a big throbbing knot on the back of her head, Willow set out to find the source of the scream that had woken her from a really, REALLY sexy dream involving her, Tara and some magical super-charging to their bedroom activities. By the time she had dragged herself down the hallway to the ladder leading to the attic Willow was in a very foul mood. Immediately after screaming, Buffy had started backing away from Dawn. Unfortunately for her, because she kept both eyes on Dawn, Buffy didn't notice where she was stepping so within seconds she stumbled falling backwards on the attic floor knocking herself out. When Willow poked her head into the attic all she saw was one of Dawn's stuffed animals out of its box. (Buffy couldn't be seen from the attic door.) Turning to leave Willow quickly turned back when Dawn started 'Roar' ing again, repeating what she had earlier said to Buffy. She didn't have any more luck with Willow than she had had with Buffy.
