One rainy afternoon, you, a girl of 18, discovered, much to your dismay, that your roommates had used up all the milk and bread in the house.
"Son of a bitch, I hate going out in the rain" you scream at your lazy male roommate.
"Get a car, then" he says as he quietly continues to tap at his keyboard.
"You guys suck. If I moved out, you would be fucked." you mutter
"perhaps." he states back, in a humerous voice.
You storm out of the apartment, and down the stairs to the door, your pink hair flowing in the rush of wind you are creating. You go outside, and the rain pelts you in the face like a fist repeatedly hitting you. You tighten your raincoat and raise the hood as you walk to the store.
"Get a car, he says" You mumble "Who the fuck has a car in the city?"
You realize that the store is quite a ways, so you walk a bit faster, but the store is no closer. "Perhaps a shortcut" you say as your turn down a back ally, but sadly it leads only the small patch of forest on the edge of the city. However, the trees provide a nice sense of protection, so you enter them. The forest is vast and expansive, and larger than you imagined. As you wonder, you try to stay close to the edge of the forest, but you loose your way. Soon, you are deep in the forest, and lost.
"Great. just great, lost in a big forest, in the middle of a downpour. this is just great." the annoyance overweights the uncomfort of the rain, and you wander deeper, trying to get out. That's when you see it.
an old gate leads to a large white mansion, with ancient stone carvings decorating the lawn. It is still raining over the mansion, but it seems to be less, if that makes any sense. You walk thru the gates, and up to the door. You knock a few times and stare at the massive door in awe. After a few moments, the door creaks open, and a man, who looks kinda like your father, kinda like Vincent Price, stands there.
"Hello there, do come in and dry off. My name is Lord Hugo Prosperio, and yours"
"(your name here)" you say.
"what a pretty name. Now, it looks as if this storm won't stop until morning, so i suggest, that you take a room here for the evening. It's no trouble. My staff will see to your every need, my darling, but I do insist. You will have a better time finding your way home if your clothing is dry, and the sun is shining. Now, I will be in my study if I am needed. Choose any room you like." He says, and then vanishes, as quick as he came. A maid takes your coat and offers to show you to your room, but you would rather choose your room yourself.
"Very well, m'lady" she says, and is off with a scurry. You accend the staircase and head down the main hallway, where you see rooms marked with words, words which are normal word, but seem very strange currently. Which room do you peek into?
