You're still doubting that this booth can actually make you shrink. Even after the booth started working (based on the noise it was making), nothing seemed to change initially. However, you soon realize that things are changing.
Parts of the booth seem to be moving up - or rather, you seem to move down. You lock your eyes onto a small bolt in one part of the booth - when you started looking, it was around the height of your chin. However, soon enough it was closer to your mouth, then your nose, then it was eye height and finally you had to look up - at first, only slightly but soon enough it had to be at least an inch or two above the top of your head.
You weren't expecting this thing to actually work, and now you weren't entirely sure what to do. Did you even want to become shorter in the first place? You weren't exactly tall before, and losing more than a foot of your height wasn't exactly something you needed.
The door to the booth opens again. The computer asks if you'd like to adjust your height further..
