Hinata felt her heart racing, her eyes shifting left and right, avoiding Naruto's gaze. She didn't know what to say and she was freaking out, so she did the only thing she could think of. Without another word she turned and ran! Naruto watched in confusion as Hinata ran away, leaving a cloud of dust in her wake. He'd never seen her move so fast. He scratched his head and thought, "Well that was weird."
But he had more pressing concerns to worry about and couldn't waste time trying to figure Hinata out. Hinata, meanwhile, had ran straight out of the village and into the woods before stopping to catch her breath. Naruto wasn't following her. She sighed and sat down her head in her arms. She was always so nervous whenever she saw Naruto! It was frustrating to have such strong feelings for him and never be able to say anything about them. It had looked like Naruto was in some kind of trouble and she had just run away like a coward. She was ashamed of herself. She stood up turned to go back to Naruto's house. But then she thought of why she had run away in the first place. What if he was mad for spying on him? It's like she had meant to spy, it was just so surprising to see Naruto so big, and still growing, right before her eyes, that she had to stop and get a closer look. Did she dare go back and face Naruto? She paced a little, thinking her options over.
