The dragon whimpered as the rain continued to beat down on him. FT sniffled a bit, fearing that a cold was going to take him over now. Still trying to decide what to do, FT looked up the hill and down the hill.
Either way, he was screwed.
As the thunder cracked around him and the lightning lit up the sky, FT noticed an object in the sky coming towards him very quickly, getting bigger as it approached. A thunderous boom cracked through the air, but it wasn't from the storm. It was from the object coming towards him, a sleek white and blue space fighter jet.
FT knew what it was as soon as it touched down. It was an Arwing, the fighter jet of the StarFox team. FT smiled and slowly rose to his feet, using his arm to protect his eyes from water, moving towards the ship as the cockpit canopy opened.
Fox McCloud, the leader of the StarFox team, slowly rose from his seat, a rain poncho covering his body. "Need a lift?" He called out.
FT didn't even answer and climbed into the jet, slipping into the tight space behind Fox's seat. Fox sat back down and closed the canopy, FT sighing with relief as he was now safe from the storm. "Thanks..." FT said, sneezing and looking for a blanket or towel.
Fox looked back and gave the dragon a blanket that was sitting on his lap. FT quickly wrapped it around himself, purring from the heat it provided. The vulpine captain maneouvered the ship in the darkness, heading down to the village. "I saw you through the lightning. I often watch the mountains in storms just incase something bad is about to happen, like a mudslide, or in your case, someone trapped up there."
FT nodded at Fox's explaination, just waiting to land.
