    by: Mizu Author IconMail Icon
"I don't know about you guys, but this job keeps me active enough." Martin muttered, turning to leaver his mother's office.

"Martin?" Diana asked him, questioning what he was doing.

Martin turned to his sister and smiled cheesily.

"If we have the whole Summer off, I'm going to spend it in complete and total relaxation."

"Relaxation?" Java questioned, scratching his heads.

From behind here desk, a vein had appeared in Mom's forhead.

"In other words, he plans to lock himself indoors for two months."

"Yep!" Martin clarified, again smiling at his family and flashing them a thumb's up, then proceeding to leave Mom's office. "You guys can do whatever, I'll see you in two months!"

With Martin gone from their presence, the remaining Mystery family members blinked at each other.

"So then...can we go to Hawaii Mom?" Diana asked, sparkles in her eyes.

"Well, if you insist...you're sure you wouldn't rather go to Jamaica? Or maybe Tahiti?"

"Cowabunga!"

***

Martin yawned, turning over in his bed as the sunlight did its best in an attempt to get him up.

Then suddenly it hit him.

He was alone and had the run of the house. For two whole months to boot.

"Yahooooooooo!" Martin exclaimed, and with a sudden burst of energy, threw the covers aside and stood up in his bed.

"Two whole Months with no Mom, no Diana, and no mission!" Martin shouted, jumping up and down on his bed in euphoria before finally jumping down onto the floor.

"So...what do I do now?" He asked himself, walking downstairs into the kitchen and putting some bread into the toaster.

"Wait...what am I doing? Toast? I can eat anything I want!" Martin shout, abandoning the toaster, and instead yanking open the freezer door and pulling out an unopened tub of Double Chocolate Swirl ice cream.

Martin then proceeded, to grab any and all available junk food he could find; chips, cookies, candy, popcorn, soda, chocolate; and relocating it to the recliner in the living room. He even ordered a few pizzas, though the people there were a little surprised anyone wanted a pizza this early.

Smiling to himself, Martin pulled up the foot rest on the recliner and began to munch on some potato chips and his ice cream as he switched on the television.

His Mom being who she was, she had been entitled to a few perks, and as such, their TV had nearly every channel known to man.

Martin fliched, as a drop of cold ice cream fell from his spoon onto his exposed skin. Since it WAS his vacation, he hadn't even other to get dressed, and was still in his boxers. Not wanting to waste even the slightest bit of his food, Martin ran his finger across the drop and then licked the drop off of his finger. He'd have to eat the ice cream fast if he didn't want it to melt.

Changing channels, Martin smirked to himself.

This was going to be an awesome vacation.

You have the following choices:

1. The pizzas arrive.

2. A few days later...
