The Merchant

Zelda looked to the bizarre stand; a small violet banner with dark writing simply said they sold items of value.
'Which could be, what, just about anything?' she thought bitterly, still angry about Link being such a jerk. Still, the vendours wares seemed interesting: smokey crystals and fine glass vials filled with thick, oozing liquids, which seemed to glow faintly-
"Can i help you, stranger?"
Shiek jerked up, surprised, meeting eyes with the cloaked salesman, his face hidden behind a thick scarf and a heavy blue cloak. "Got some good things on sale, stranger," his voice raspy, "You look like the kind who'd want things your way, aint cha?"
Shiek nodded a little, not quite understanding what he could have meant by that. "In a matter of speaking. I want to humiliate someone I know for being despicable. Have anything that could help?"
The merchant merely guffawed, opening his cloak to reveal a collection of precious stones.
"This one right here," he pointed to a ruby, "will turn even the sveltest's luck upside down, while this one," he pointed to a saphire, "will make sure they stay that way."
Shiek smiled. "I'll take them."
She handed over a bag of ruppees to the merchant and made off with her new possessions. Wondering what to do next...
