Anger welled up in his heart. He thought of that boy that had defeated him in the first place. He knew that if he didn't strike first, Link would send him back to his hellish prison and it would be back to scraping his way out again.
Ganondorf needed a way to keep the Hero from acting against him. The most obvious method, of course, would be to kill him. That was difficult - his army was far too small to tear up the kingdom to find one boy. There was also the matter of Link still possessing the Tri-Force of Courage. They could well wind up at a stalemate.
First things first - he'd need to find Link in the first place. He looked into his magic mirror - every villain had one these days. "Find the Hero of...oh, just find Link!"
The black magic of the mirror swirled around until it found its target...
