It was several weeks before Giganta gained consciousness again. There wasn't a day Diana didn't stop by to check on her foe, which left the medical team in awe; many felt like they would have left the woman to die if they were in her shoes. The amount of pain she had caused and destruction she'd brought to their city was immeasurable.
It was four weeks in that she finally woke up and it just so happened to be at a time when Diana had just returned from a Justice League trip to check on the unconscious villainess.
"Dr. Zuel...are you okay?"
Doris Zuel, the true name behind Giganta, looked back at this...amazon of a woman in what seemed like dazed awe.
"W-who are you?"
"I...do you not know me?" Diana knelt beside the bed Doris was on.
"I'm afraid not...should I?"
"Well...normally you would. I am known by many as Wonder Woman, but you used to know me as Diana."
"Diana...I don't remember a Diana. Who...who am I?"
"Your name is Doris Zuel...do you remember anything?"
Doris held her forehead as she felt an intense headache hit. The doctors came in to tend to her and Diana was forced away from the situation.
As the weeks went on, it was discovered that Doris had developed a severe case of amnesia. She had no recollection of any part of her life, even of her own powers. Seeing the potential for good here, Diana lobbied in support of her being kept out of prison and instead being placed under her watchful care to see if Doris could truly be reformed. This brings us to now, where Doris is back in society and looking for a new job...unknowingly harboring an extreme power that could unleash under the right circumstances.
