Chapter #7

Nobody, only a message attached to the door.

    by: Unknown
The note reads:
- Dinner served at Mess Hall: 6pm-
-Camp meeting at Mess Hall: 7pm-

"We better get down to the mess hall for dinner" Matt tells Russ. "That is if you're hungry" Matt winks.
"You know it, I'm starved!" Russ exclaims.
The two head towards to mess hall and talk about themselves. Matt has graduated college two years early and is looking for activities such as this camp to keep him busy and yet allow him to travel before settling into his career. Russ has finished his third year of college and enjoys the peacefulness of the camp, and the hearty pay. This conversation carries them to the mess hall where they find Ken, Tim, and a younger girl chatting at the entrance.
"You boys are just in time!" Says Ken. "Let's plop down for some grub, Tim has made us a light meal".
Matt noticed a faint look of anger flare within Tim's eyes upon hearing this statement.
"We're starved." Says Russ.
They enter the mess hall and chit-chat over a meal of salad, chili, and toast.
"I would like to introduce you two to our camp nurse, Jessica. She's new this year but is very excited to be join us." Ken says after the meal comes to a close.
Matt, Russ, and Jessica exchange hand shakes and introductions while Tim clears the table.
"This camp is just so lovely." Jessica says. "I'm a nursing student so I'm so glad to have the chance to put in some hours of experience here."
"I agree, this camp is just amazing and so peaceful." Says Matt. "I almost don't want to see the camp full of children kicking up the dust and causing a ruckus."
"That's all part of the fun though, boy." Ken says. "That brings me to our meeting topic. We need to review the rules and responsibilities of camp officials."
The meeting lasts into the night, finally adjourning close to 10pm. The group discussed a lot, from responsibilities to activities, from day one to the last day. Despite being such a lengthy meeting, this was only one of many before the other councilors and campers arrived.
Matt and Russ left the mess hall feeling tired and began to make their way back to the cabin. Matt suddenly remembers his stash of jam.
"Are you still feeling hungry?" He asks Russ.
"I was actually thinking that, the dinner was lighter than I remember." Russ says.
Standing before the cabin, Matt and Russ decide to:

You have the following choices:

1. Retrieve the jam

2. Enter the cabin
